Kinky Boots at the Chelmsford Civic Theatre

On Friday the 17th of July, at the Chelmsford Civic Theatre, Springer’s Theatre Company put on a wonderful production of ‘Kinky Boots’ and starring in the roles of young Lola and young Charlie were Jigsaw Chelmsford’s very own Matthew Mullender and Zak Spong. 

Manager Abbie and Main School teacher Tarnya were invited along to watch the boys dazzle the audience in this very spectacular production.

Abbie and Tarnya were “So proud watching Matthew and Zac perform so professionally. It was a fabulous performance, they were absolutely fantastic! The whole cast and team deserve a massive congratulations for their hard work and dedication.”

Both Matthew Mullender and Zak Spong told Abbie and Tarnya that they thoroughly enjoyed performing each night during their week-long run of the production and that the real Charlie Price even came to visit them during Saturday’s show!

We are feeling very grateful to be able to take trips to the Theatre again, to watch our students perform in front of an audience, and to be a part of a community that provides these opportunities and experiences for our young ones.
