Jigsaw Stevenage’s first ever Half-Term Villains Camp was a success!
Jigsaw Stevenage ran a two-day ‘VILLAINS’ October half-term Camp for students aged 5-16 years during and had a blast!
On the first day of the holiday camp, our students had the absolute privilege to take part in a workshop with Elliot Harper, a star of the West End Stage! Elliot played ‘Miss Trunchbull’ in Matilda The Musical for over 3 years. Elliot put the students through their paces with a fantastic interactive activities and introduced new singing and acting skills through a variety of character development exercises.
Day 2 of the October half-term camp was spent taking part in: Drama and acting improvisation exercises, looking at ‘Heroes vs Villains Qualities’, spooky themed craft-making, a talent show, Halloween costume dress up fun, pumpkin sketches, monster dance routines and zombie games!
The camp at Jigsaw Stevenage was open to both current Jigsaw students and non-Jigsaw students too. We had a fabulous mix of current Jigsaw Stevenage students and some new faces attend! This was a great opportunity for new friendships to be made – with parents having to wait at the end of the day to set up a playdate for their child! It is such a wonderful blessing to be able to bring children together to showcase their talents, have some fun and create crafts and new friends!
We are very much looking forward to more upcoming and exciting holiday camp plans for 2025!
