Jigsaw Ilford Students Plan to Celebrate Eurovision 2016 in Style
- Published Date: May 13, 2016
Students at Jigsaw Ilford are set to celebrate Eurovision 2016 Song Contest with a whole host of Eurovision themed drama, singing and dance activities in their classes tomorrow.
The whole school will be working together to put together their own performance. From backstage preparation to a singing competition and voting process, students will have the opportunity to explore their own version of Eurovision 2016 and will be home in time to watch the real event that evening.
In last year’s official Eurovision Song Contest, Sweden claimed victory with the song ‘Heroes’ and so they are hosting this year’s competition, the Grand Final of which is due to take place in Stockholm tomorrow night.
The UK’s entry this year from Joe and Jake has been well received so far, so be sure to tune in tomorrow night from 20:00 on BBC to see how the evening unfolds.
