Company Director, Nicola Lander visits Jigsaw Mitcham
- Published Date: May 22, 2018
Our Franchise Discovery Day is just around the corner and with the office a buzz of excitement Company Director, Nicola Lander took some time out to visit her very first franchisee, Michael Eeles and his students at Jigsaw Mitcham. Now with 10 Jigsaw franchisees across thirteen Performing Art Schools, Nicola reflects on the man who decided to make Jigsaw a place to belong for students in Wimbledon, Mitcham and Sutton with high quality performing arts classes every weekend.
“Michael came to Jigsaw as a drama teacher in 2006 and worked at lots of Jigsaw schools before becoming a manager in 2008. When Michael approached me in 2013 about becoming our first franchisee, I was delighted as he was the ideal candidate. Michael already had a love of Jigsaw, an enormous amount of experience as a teacher and manager and importantly, he shared the same ethos.
Michael opened Wimbledon in January 2014 and from the very first day of that term I could see that he was a success in the making. Schools at Mitcham in 2015 and then Sutton in 2016 followed. Michael is dedicated to his schools and creates a wonderful, fun environment where all the students can flourish and grow in confidence.”
If you are interested in opening your very own Jigsaw Performing Arts School, there is still time to pop in and find out more information on our Franchise Discovery Day on the 24th May 2018. Come and meet the team for an informal chat and make this the perfect start to your new business venture.
